The Spring Fling, previously known as the Gala, is our yearly fundraising event where teachers, staff, parents, family, and friends gather together for an evening of fabulous food, dancing and socializing all in support of our wonderful school. We have been successful in the past but need your help now more than ever before! Let’s make this the best year ever!

Sponsor

Every teacher at Hawes will receive two complimentary tickets to our Spring Fling event furnished by the PTA. In order to defray costs and bring more money in for the school, we are offering you the opportunity to sponsor your favorite teacher or staff member. With each donation, the teacher will receive a personalized e-mail with the good news they have been graciously sponsored by you! You may also choose to remain anonymous. Any donations received for a given teacher in excess of the $80 requirement will go into the general fund to sponsor other teachers not so fortunate. We hope you will consider sponsoring your teacher today!

Donations

We need the help of all the school’s families so that our PTA can keep funding the wonderful programs that we offer to our children. We would like to remind you that we are looking for new items to be donated to our Silent Auction. All donations are tax deductible. We need to have the donated items for the Silent Auction turned in by February 26th. Donations are tax deductible PTA Tax ID 330149689. Here are some ideas:

  • Travel/Getaways: Airfare, resorts, hotel, cruises, privately owned condos and vacation homes, train tickets, wine trips, golf packages, time shares.
  • Dining: Chef prepared meal at your home, restaurant gift card, tour of restaurant kitchen, cooking lessons, catering services, dinner cruise.
  • Heath & Style: Clothing, jewelry, shopping gift card, eyewear, spa and salons, massages, facial, Mani Pedi, skin care products, make-up, cosmetic procedures (Botox), teeth whitening, tanning.
  • Entertainment: Amusement parks, games stores, family fun centers, bike shops and rentals, museums, movie theatre, concerts, box seats, sporting event tickets (pro & college baseball, football, basketball, etc…) sports memorabilia, limos, party buses.

Raffle Tickets:

We will have a raffle the evening of the event. We will raffle off prizes as well as a 50/50 prize (50/50 prize is the winner will win 50% of the money brought in for the raffle and the school keeps the other 50%). Tickets sold online are in a pack of 25 for a special pre-sale price of only $20.00! Tickets sold the night of the event will be $1.00 each.
